As I have not posted in awhile I really have had alot of time to think about this blog. At first it made sense to me to post the weekly deals for everyone but then I was sticking myself in the same time constraint as before. There are many wonderful sites that lists weekly grocery deals, and if you are an avid couponer you basically look at your weekly ad and then match coupons up.

But I really wanted to have my own blog to share with the good and maybe not the best times in a family's life. Because that is REAL and this is LIFE! Many blogs portray how perfect things are when there are issues going on so to me that's wonderful that you keep your privacy, but for me if I am already putting myself out there then why hide. Yes, I will hide real names at times or switch things up as now in this day you can never be to careful.

I will share my favorite blogs openly, I will share things that help me or our family. Will it help you maybe, maybe not.

I had some business to attend to in a certain area so I knew of a place to go for maybe some possible deals. So as a couponer the deals believe it or not do not always have to be at a mass retailer like Weis, Walmart, or CVS. So where did I go? More on that later.... But the real question is for all these items I handed over a $20 bill! How much did my bill come to?

Perdue Chicken strips are B1G1 and there are $1 off 1 coupons. I did buy 7 bottles of Chipotle hot sauce which had $1/2 coupon tops on some. So I got gas points for buying 7. Plus we are a HOT family so there can never be enough hot sauce here and I am pretty sure family will get some of my stash:)

Let's not even forget the easy tearpads right on the freezer door for $1/2 Red Baron full size pizzas which are on sale for 2/$7.00. So $5 for pizzas for a fast meal when time is short I will take that with all these activities with the kids time is sometimes short after all the homework, reading, and studying in our home going on. Pumpkin I will use to make pumpkins muffins for easy healthy breakfast muffins to pull out of freezer and warm.

Every item I had a coupon for bleach, bigelow tea bags for my ice tea I make. Always look at the clearance section near the bathrooms right now there are Giant brand diapers on clearance and Underjams I thinnk they are called with those and coupon can make a great deal. I always used the cheap diapers for when I was at home when they were babies if I got clearance diapers that were not as good as my beloved papmpers swaddlers or cruisers.

My total for this Giant Trip tax included: $38.00 plus received 30 gas points!

GIANT PA~ GE Energy Smart Lightbulbs (Catalina & Gas Deal)

Yesterday I went to our local Giant where I went in for 2 deals that were specifically planned out. I did change my way on this bulb deal and the cashier finally figured out what I was doing. I bought 12 GE compact lightbulbs on sale for $.99 cents each. I broke up my 12 bulbs into three boxes on belt and paid OOP for first set received my $3 CAT (catalina) and used each CAT on each transaction and paid $.15 cents each time for tax. But I did not get the 200 gas points for spending $10 so I need to go and get it straightened out. I had to get kiddos at bustop so I was in a hurry.
